It's been a delight in the 2 years I've had it. My laptop runs fine, and I have no (visible) problems. Nothing is open on the HD - I don't even touch it after the boot-up from volume A (or B, for that matter). I have checked the iBook HD, and I have ownership and permissions to read & write. I also tried to start up with the Apple Hardware Test CD, with the same result of getting stuck at opening screen. I have lost my original Mountain Lion install discs.
